After much resistance, I’m a total convert to the double cleanse. Using a cleansing balm, like G&S, removes my daily SPF and keeps the next step (regular cleanser) from overstripping my skin’s natural moisture barrier. My skin no longer feels dry & tight after double cleansing.Love the amount of product you get here for the price. One jar lasted me almost 3 months. No blurry eyes or breakouts or irritation after using it.Comparing it to more expensive cleansing balms I’ve tried, it doesn’t rinse off quite as well & no scent (I do enjoy a subtle luxurious fragrance to my skincare as part of the overall experience), but it works well as part of a double cleanse and is a great value. If you’re searching for an affordable effective cleansing balm, look no further.

Better than Elemis
Better than Elemis! I’ve been using this for a few months now. I’ve been trying to find a cleansing balm at a good price point that works, and this is it! I’m not sure about the other reviews complaining about the ink on the packaging unless they’re not washing their hands when they close lol. There is no fragrance in this, and it just melts your makeup away! This is the first step in my double cleanse routine, it is gentle and hydrating. I wear waterproof everything on my face and this balm does not hurt the eyes and works magic with a makeup eraser cloth. I feel like it improves my skin using this balm compared to others. I was previously using the elemis collagen cleansing balm and it does not work as good as this, and that balm is $50 more. Grace and Stella make some great non-irritating products. Highly recommend!

Love this! It really works!
Found this on a super sale and decided to try it. Before this I used makeup remover wipes but they burn my eye’s. Immediately I knew this was a new staple for me. It lasts a long time, little goes a long way, awesome consistency, really does break the makeup down (even waterproof mascara) but definitely wash your face with a cleanser afterwards. It suggests that in the instructions and I highly recommend not to skip that step. Otherwise the skin feels a little “thick” if that makes sense. Not as much as Vaseline all over the face but enough to where a mild cleanser is needed. Try it. You won’t be disappointed! I didn’t notice any scent either.

This product works, it melts my make up off very easily. It does tend to burn my eyes if left too long before rinsing. There is not foaming or emulsion at all, but it does a good job.

Decent, but I won’t repurchase
Love that this is affordable, fragrance free and vegan. Does a good job removing my sunscreen and foundation. I would say you definitely need to utilize a double cleanse. The downfall – it burns the dickens out of my eyes. I wouldn’t say I normally have very sensitive eyes but within 10 seconds of apply this stuff they’re on fire and pouring like a faucet. Considering a large part of the reason I use this type of product is to dissolve my stubborn waterproof mascara, this just doesn’t work for me.

I got a sample in a monthly self care bag I subscribe to and tried this out. I made it last as long as I could because it is SO good. I have very sensitive skin, most all products leave my face red and irritated or tight and dry. When my sample ran out I purchased this in full size and I’m SO glad I did! It arrived quickly and is a big bottle for a super great price. This is so gentle on my sensitive skin, my face doesn’t feel dry after and I have zero breakouts. Fantastic product, I won’t be switching anytime soon and will have to search for more products from this company. As a side note: the packaging was adorable, there was a cute sticker inside also! It just felt.. high end. 100% recommend

The balm comes with a little spatula to get out of the product.The product is so good, you don’t need a lot.
