Fantastic product with a learning curve!
Here’s a review from someone who has used this product a LOT- I’ve repurchased this now 3 times! I was a huge fan of L’Oréal’s OG Telescopic Mascera, so I was very intrigued to try this newer version when it first came out. Let me tell you- there is a learning curve!The first several times I used this resulted in lots of eye stabs and gouges! Ugh- there should seriously be a disclaimer on this product lol. You have to work with it for a while to get the hang of it. Now I have it figured out. I curl my lashes first, then use the flatter edge to separate the lashes and apply product first. Then I go in with the brush side to fill everything out more. It really looks like false lashes when I get it just right! But every time I this, I am happy with how it makes my lashes look: long, full, somewhat dramatic.I recommend it, and I will continue to buy it (really a holy grail product at this point), but experimentation may be needed at first!

Learned How to Use, So Changing My Rating
I had written a 2-star review for this mascara, but have revised it to a 4-star. It’s still not the perfect mascara I think must be the holy grail, but I’ve learned how to use it and am liking it well enough to have bought it two more times since my first purchase in April 2023.When I gave it to 2-star review, I said that it clumped my lashes. As any woman over 60 knows, our lashes seem to get fewer in number or the hair itself gets thinner, so we are always looking for “the perfect” brush that, I think, is the key to getting thicker-looking lashes. I thought that the brush clumped the lashes.However, I must have learned how to use the wand better (more effectively). What I do now is to give it one coat and then wait for it to dry to put on the next one. Wait for it to dry, too, then apply more to get a thicker lash. This seems to work.The one thing I had liked upon making my first purchase was that the mascara washed off nicely. It continues to do well in that department.Overall, I like the mascara and the all important brush.

Not what I expected.
Really wanted to love this, it is not as good as advertised. Didn’t see a significant change in my lashes, I feel like it dries to quickly and if you try to do a second coat it clumps up.

I have bought this 10 times.
I love this mascara so much. It holds the curl and doesn’t flake. I think the brown color looks great with most eye colors. You can tell how good it is when you pull the wand out and you can hear how juicy it is. Great mascara.

Embarrassing!
I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews stating this. I found a couple. I used a very light coat of this a few times and it was okay. The first time I was wearing it to an event, I came home to find absolute raccoon eyes. Mascara smuge all over underneath and on the top of my lids. I was certain this was because I’d chosen to use a moisturizer under my make up. Today I had an important luncheon and again took the time to really use this product carefully to enhance my lashes. I had no moisturizer, my face was very clean. I left home with my lashes looking great. I came home to massive mascara smudges on my eyelids. I could perhaps leave a bad review for my friends and colleagues who failed to draw my attention to this matter. Ha ha. Unfortunately, on both occasions I was so embarrassed when I checked my rearview mirror on the way home! I’ve also poked my eye with the comb part while applying the mascara at least three times and I’m generally very adept at applying mascara, this would be a small matter next to coming home from events looking like a raccoon. It doesn’t work any better than Lancomb, Loreal Voluminos, it’s a touch bettter than Covergirl LashBlast if you don’t mind looking like you have two black eyes. Maybe okay if you use a very light coat but if you use it the way they show you on Youtube, you might come home looking like you had a much wilder night than you thought. It looked really, really bad and I was embarrassed. Throwing it out.

Got this for my granddaughter for Christmas. Very pleased with it and she loves it. Goes on well and causes no eye problems.

When I 1st used this mascara I was confused as to why it’s so many people’s holy grail. The wand is REALLY flimsy and the formula is quite wet but then after the 3rd or 4th use i got on board with the 2nd coat. Once it starts to dry down a bit and you put the 2nd coat on it really works to voluminous while the formula gives a great lengthening effect. The flimsy wand makes it really easy to get the root really saturated well to get that extra length happening. It is wet so be aware that if you wiggle to much you are going to get mascara all over your lid on your eyeshadow. I use a lid guard because the effect the lashes get when you let loose is worth it!

I purchased this item after seeing Tik Tok reviews and I’m glad I did. This has now become my my favourite mascara. I wear it everyday and even received two more for Christmas. $15 for this mascara is much more adorable then the higher price mascaras that do just the same. I actually love how this bush combs through my lashes now. It was a trial and error to use this wand but now I love this.
