I own some Shany products myself, & I have never been disappointed by anything they have released (gel eye liner, eye shadows, lip sticks). I chose this particular kit because it is smaller, but has a variety of eye shadows, as well as a few blushes & face powders. Shany produces good quality cosmetics at an affordable price & I feel like this is the perfect set for a young girl (or someone traveling). The eye shadows & blushes have nice pigmentation, unlike other inexpensive alternatives, you don’t have apply gobs of these cosmetics to get the color you are hoping to achieve. The colors that come in this particular set are very beautiful & vibrant, which I love. Also, these eye shadows are very easy to blend, you don’t have to worry about having a harsh line because they are so overwhelmingly easy to work with.Overall, I love Shany products, that’s why I chose to purchase from them for this gift. I’ve been buying Shany for years. I’ve tried “high end” expensive products from Sephora and Ulta with little success. Shany has never let me down. The eyeshadows are pigmented and don’t dry out. The eyeliners/lip pencils are versatile and go on smoothly. The lipsticks don’t irritate my sensitive skin. The huge array of colors go with many skin tones and I appreciate that my friends and I can swap colors if something doesn’t go well for one of us. Everything I’ve ever purchased from them has arrived well packaged and lasted much longer than I probably should have kept it. I’ll continue to be a loyal Shany customer.

Cute set with broken lid
My daughter loved this little case filled with a bunch of pretty colors. Perfect little set for a little girl to play with, as most of the eyeshadows are bright and bold. The brushes are small and stiff, like all cheap brushes that come with the sets are. The Mirror is in the bottom slide out drawer, so pretty useless since it doesn’t come out. It’s odd to look down while using. It also had some scratches in it. The flip top lid its self was also broken. One hinge was snapped so you have to be very careful opening it, but none of the makeup was damaged

It’s such a pretty case and full to the brim of goodies!Shany makeup is high quality, a little goes a long way and they are transparent about their ingredients so you know what you’re putting on your face/body.They last all day, I’m always so surprised when I check my makeup and it’s all perfect! I’ve learned to expect perfection with Shany and to get it!The only disappointments were that there was no compact powder and the blushes were all very dark. One of the blushes is going to have to be eye shadow! But I’m very pale so for someone else it would likely be perfect
